I'm Back... with the Lovely Isabella!

It's been a while since I've been able to post anything!  It was a great trip out to Texas with the family (I hope to get some pictures and some blogging up about it soon) and we are working on getting settled in.  I finally got my internet hook up at the house and so I've gotten back on the work horse!  I am OVERLOADED with editing... as my last 2 months were crazy busy... and I honestly bit off a little more than I could chew in a timely manner- especially with a move as a part of the mix!  Thanks to everyone for their patience as I transition and catch up!

Here is the gorgeous Isabella!  Is she amazing or what?  I did her first portraits at about 3 months old.... she's still on my gallery... the little baby with all the black hair and sparkling eyes!  I think she looks like Suri Cruise!!  She has a such a sweet, girly little personality... and definitely didn't want to get dirty or do anything yucky like sit in the grass!!  I sat her down for a shot and she gave me a look like "How dare you?"... it was hilarious!  I'm in love with several of these shots... just love the soft natural looks on her face!  Thanks Joe and Alina for wanting to squeeze in one more session before I left!  Here's a sneak-peak for you!

Urban Baby Alex...

So Alex is a ton of fun... from his stocky little build to his huge grins.... this session was a dream!  Alex is 6 months old, and you may remember him from his first session at 3 months... (the Buddha pose on the bed).  This is such a fun age... sitting up, smiles and laughs at about anything, and just generally happy!  As you can see here... he's all that and more!

Never dreamt I'd be able to get him sitting on brick steps!!!?  I would normally be afraid of a terrible topple-down... but mom & dad said he could totally handle it... I'd say he handled it, alright!  DREAM SESSION!!!

What a sweet family these guys are!  I miss you guys already!  Can't wait to see his 1 year pics !  Thank you again guys!

Stevie Jr.!!

This little man is quite the little smiley one!  Steven is 9 months old... and I did his mommy's pregnancy portraits and a session with him when he was about 2 months old too!  I was amazed at the fact that his face looks exactly the same... he's just grown a bit and has the fuzziest little head of hair imaginable!  He's just learning how to sit up... so it was fun watching him balance, thankfully we didn't have any serious wobble-overs!  :)

Here were just a few of my favorites of his big smiles.  Like my new blog boards??  So much fun!

New Logo!

Thought I'd post my new logo just for fun!  I've been trying to find the right brush to add a "flourish" design and this is what I think I've decided on!  Since pregnancy photography seems to be on of the things I've beed doing the least of lately... I thought perhaps a change was due!  It's simple, but girly!  I think it fits... so far, we'll see after a few days if it grows on me or I get antsy!!  Would love to hear your thoughts if you take the time to read this!

Speaking of which.... I continue to be in awe of the many different visitors from AROUND THE WORLD that visit my blog daily!  If you come on and browse... please feel free to leave a comment and say hello!  I'd love to hear from you!  I'm always intriuged and wonder who all you lovely people are and who's photos you are viewing!!  Thanks!  :)

Jenae & Sernina... best buds!

Work it girls.... :)

From tears....

To laughter...

It's official!!!

Believe me... these two could dance!

STUNNING beautiful bride!

This was quite a lovely wedding.... from the whip-crackin' bride Jenae, to the beautiful venue, to the awesome lighting, and the par-tay people in the hooouse... it was a great time overall.  Jenae runs a dance and theater studio and is used to timing her recitals down to the minute... so she gave ME the timeline of what we were doing and when and stuck to it like glue!!  We did EVERY picture (aside from the ceremony and reception) before they walked down the aisle... and man, it was great to have lots of time to do do all kinds of creative pictures!!

Jenae is so natural behind the camera.  I LOVE the last shot... I dragged Jenae out to the courtyard area to grab this last one once it was dark... there were these great light fixtures on the wall that shot the light straight down and I was so excited to get this shot!  Thanks Jenae for indulging me in an extra creative moment!  :)

Thanks to my bud Jennifer who came along to help/shadow me on this one!  Was awesome to have you with me.  You've got spunk and I can't wait to see your wedding shots to come!
