Home For Christmas...

Well... it's been a lovely day with my family... presents, turkey for dinner, and a house that looked like a bomb went off.... and here I am at my computer... doing a blog post?!  :)

This little angel is named Tyndell Eve.  She is the new daughter of dear friends of ours... and I haven't seen a baby as tiny as she is since my 5 year old niece Lexi was born.  Tyndell is about 5#, 8oz right now... and makes my one year old Elise look gi-normous!  Tyndell had an 11 day stay in the NICU due to being 4 weeks early and so tiny.. but was able to come home in time for Christmas.  I was able to sneak over for a quick visit and brought my trusty camera to snap a few for mom and dad.  Here were a few that caught my eye!

Merry Christmas!

Friday

Delaney

Miss Delaney is a friend of Gracie's (another cutie client) and she and her mommy met us down at the beach on the tail-end of Gracie's last session.  Delaney's nanny had dressed her in this fancy Christmas dress... and we got some great shots in maybe at most, ten minutes of shooting!!?  She had fun toddling around and playing in the sand... and as you can see, has quite the little personality!  Her mom ordered a coffee table album for Delaney's grandparents for a Christmas gift... which I have to say turned out gorgeous!  I'm sure they are going to be happy!  I thought I'd put up a few of my favorite shots from our little mini-mini session!  Enjoy!

Thursday

A Few Favs...

I thought I'd post a few images from a very large family session I did recently.  Christine purchased my two-in-one package and used it very wisely!  She first had me down to her lovely home in Sunshine Ranches to photograph her immediate family, which was lots of fun with her silly kiddos!  Then, she had be back less than 3 weeks later to her entire family's gathering for Thanksgiving to take pictures for everyone... both individual family groups and allll together... about 20 people total!  It was a beautiful day...

As you can tell, I especially loved the images of her sister, Casey, and her fiance!  They are having a 1940's themed wedding which should be fabulous!  I would have loved to have gotten a little more creative and done some fun engagement documentary-style portraits... but this session wasn't about that... so I just did my best to grab a few traditional shots for them.. along with the rest!

Wednesday

Mommy, Daddy, & Max!

This is Max's 6th session with me since his Mom's belly pictures!!  Wow... how exciting (for me!).  I always enjoy taking his pictures, but this time was even more fun because I got to listen to his little cartoon-like voice!!  He was like a little parrot, just repeating everything.... pointing to everything he saw and name it!!  The best part of the whole session was when his mom and dad jumped in their big SUV to change and Max and I just hung out in an empty parking space.  We just "chatted" and I clicked away... the shots from this little 5 minutes of time were my favorite from the whole session.... great job Max!  I think his mom and dad look really nice in their couples shots we did!!  I can see these hanging on their walls... and it makes me want to take some more pictures with my husband!!!! :)

Thank you so much for your continued appointments with me guys!  You are a pleasure to work with and I hope you enjoy this in depth preview (15 pictures, whoa... you'd think it was a wedding or something!? :) )

Monday

Willa & Sadie...

Miss Willa & Sadie are growing and getting to be such big girls... you'd NEVER know they were premies now!  I first met this family several months ago when the girls weren't really supposed to be leaving the house yet due to being premies!   We did the first session at their home... but this time, it was fun to be outside and enjoy the beautiful South Florida weather.  These were a few of the first images to catch my eye!  :)  They were each in a bit of a serious mood.. I think they were mostly just taking in all the new surroundings.. but we got some smiles in the end with some interaction from mom and dad!  Thanks again guys... I look forward to working with you all again.  :)
