A Very Special Family Reunion!!

Jeff & Ladean are proud Mama and Papa to 5 beautiful grown babies and one adorable grand-baby, Chance!! They requested just some simple, relaxed family photos of their time all together.... and what a treat it turned out to be!! I think we did every combination of family member groupings from the whole gang, combinations thereof, to single portraits!! We drove to the down town Abilene area near the Grace Museum and WOW, what a field day for shooting there! Tons of great picture nooks!! I was thrilled to find this turquoise blue loading dock to shoot on... I really love the family shots we did there... especially all the feet and silly faces picture (that one was especially for chance!!).

Jeff & Ladean- you have a beautiful heritage... Matt and I are so glad to know you and be walkin' it out next to you! Thanks for including me in this special weekend.... I hope these pictures are everything you were hoping for!! (and on that note, there are a TON more to come! this is just a quick preview!) May God continue to bless your walk and your ministry!

Every time I'm around little Amily, I just want to squeeze her!!!

I'm getting ready to travel back to south Florida to work with my wonderful clientele. I have over 20 appointments scheduled over two trips in September and October!!! I'm really looking forward to going back to work with some old friends (clients) and to see how all my little ones have grown!! It's a win-win for me because I also get to see family and friends too! I love my job!!!

I thought in honor of my coming trip, I'd post this session to set the mood for these next two months! These is the Koeser family kiddos. Dear friends of ours, Bruce & Linda, asked me to do a family session for them and all their kids and grandchildren before I left for Texas. I never did blog this session because it took me a while to finish editing them since my last month was so busy. These images are mostly of their grandchildren (the two older lovelies are their daughter's Amanda & Anna)... the more creative shots (as opposed to the posed family shots).

I feel humid and drippy just looking at the beach... but it should be a refreshing change heading back into the "city" for a bit! I'm especially excited to get to spend time with this particular family!!! :)

Well, what an honor for me to get to use my skills to create these photographs. This is the staff and Elder couples of Emmanuel Fellowship Church in Sweetwater, Texas... and my, my.... are they some beautiful people!! Matt and I have been blessed beyond blessed to be in relationship with these folks and we love them dearly! EFC has a really cool website, and was in need of a refresh for their staff pictures! I mentioned the idea to Eric and it was already on his radar screen for the near future... so it was perfect! My only condition was that we do something DIFFERENT.... no stuffy back drops and lighting for these shots! I wanted to find some fun outdoor places to shoot and get some realism into the images... so the website would reflect who they really are! I can see the love... can you see the love?? :) Ironically, I have a staff session scheduled with First Baptist of Sweetwater in about a week! How fun!

Thanks everyone.... it was a hoot listening to you all razz each other and have fun as we were shooting! Thank you for your passionate devotion to Jesus Christ and being our new Texas family!! We are so grateful for each and every one of you!!
