This little sweetie was so much fun to photograph! Davis was the first lil' lady (non-newborn) that I got into my little studio space to play with this gorgeous and girly backdrop! I just love how these pics came out!! Of course, we had to venture outside to play too... we'll be finishing up this session by adding her big sister, Sydny into the mix next week! She's a beauty too, so I'm really excited to take pictures of them together!! :) For now, here are a few of my favorites from our session! :)



Is she cute or what? I am proud to say I made her head band flowers!!! Her Mom loved them both so much that she actually bought both of them!! Looks like I have a new little side gig!






It's so cute how babies at this age (7-8 months) go through a little "sticking out their tongue stage!!" ADORABLE!

This gorgeous family has been on my "families I'd looooove to shoot with" for a while now!! They bid on and won a gift certificate for a mini-session I donated last year and cashed in a few weeks ago! We literally took maybe 30-40 mins to shoot this session... and man, was I happy with the results! I'll be adding a few more to this post, but for now here are a few of my favorites!! :)

Natural Light Studio Fun.... :: Abilene Children's Photographer, Abilene Newborn Photographer

So, just thought I'd share a few images I recently shot of my girls in a natural light studio studio!! I've been slowly but surely been working on setting myself up indoors for a while now with a set up like this... modern and fun back drops, faux wood floors, vintage props,etc. I mean, after all we do live in Texas and it gets COLD here (remember, I'm from South Florida), so another option for kids during the winter months, baby milestone sessions, etc. is a great idea! So far, I've acquired about 6 fun back drops like this one (see below for your options) and have a whole storage space full of fun vintage props... so stay tuned for more images like this in the future! I'm really enjoying this style of photography and look forward to more opportunities to experiment with some sweet lil' faces!

Some days blogging feels next to impossible?? For the month of October, I have 17 sessions booked and I just have no idea how on earth I'll blog them?? Facebook seems so much easier these days, but I love being able to see them nice a big here! Just thought as a nice in between, I'd upload and share a handful of my faves from recent sessions.... or should I say, some of my favorites that are already formatted, logo stamped (ok maybe not all of them?), and sitting on my desktop!!! :) This way, those of you that may be stopping in for the first time can see a sample what I've been up to recently! :) Perhaps I'm onto something here!!!?! :)
