Newborns: Defined

NEWBORNS|defined

Ohh, how I love this line of Newborn Announcements.... it literally makes me want to have a baby just to be able to send one of these out (one day!)!!! Another beautiful creation by Whitney of StudioFour12.... I love her stuff! Thanks girl, your style is exactly what I wanted for these sweet little cards!!

These are 5"x7" cards & envelopes, printed either front and back or you may just choose a single side for your announcement. You can even mix and match some of them to suit your creativity! My favorites are Wonder, Bundle, & Miracle!!

Homrich Card

I've been working hard on to finish up editing all the sessions I've had from my last two trips to South Florida, as well as some great stuff from right here in Texas! My blog is getting the official blow off, for now! Gotta get the galleries done first... then I'll come back and put it all up so my wonderful blogger friends and prospective clients can see what I've been up to! Thanks for your patience.. I promise it will be lots of fun once I get to it!

Here are my holiday cards for the 2010!! Any session booked from here on (and those already done within the last month or so) will include a complimentary holiday card design as a "Happy Holidays" from In Bloom Photography!! The design is free along with your package purchase... and you may have your cards printed whenever and wherever you'd like! Ask me for my printing recommendations though... I'm happy to give them! There are two different lines of cards... the first is a bit more simple and clean, while the second is vintage and so fun! Please pardon the old logo on these... this was my logo before branching out to Texas!! My logo will NOT be on the cards... just on the blog! :) Feel free to leave a comment with questions and I'll reply, or you can email me at karyn@inbloomimages.com! These cards are in a 5x7 format, and the text style/wording is all customizable.

Keep checking back for posts!! I'm going to keep on truckin' till it's alllll done! OH!! I finally got around to updating my website home page slideshow and all my galleries... so if I've photographed you or your family in the last 6 or 7 months... you are likely featured somewhere on my website!! Be sure to check it out!

New Promo Cards!

OK... CHECK ME OUTTT!  This is my first attempt at designing my own promotional cards!  I'm quite excited and love the way they turned out (for my first attempts!)!  Just thought I'd share!!  These will be double-sided 4x6 post cards that I'll be hitting the West Texas area with HARD... just as soon as I finish my Florida editing and can start focusing on getting my name out here in the "Big Country!"  And yes... it lives up to it's name!!

Saturday

New Logo!

Thought I'd post my new logo just for fun!  I've been trying to find the right brush to add a "flourish" design and this is what I think I've decided on!  Since pregnancy photography seems to be on of the things I've beed doing the least of lately... I thought perhaps a change was due!  It's simple, but girly!  I think it fits... so far, we'll see after a few days if it grows on me or I get antsy!!  Would love to hear your thoughts if you take the time to read this!

Speaking of which.... I continue to be in awe of the many different visitors from AROUND THE WORLD that visit my blog daily!  If you come on and browse... please feel free to leave a comment and say hello!  I'd love to hear from you!  I'm always intriuged and wonder who all you lovely people are and who's photos you are viewing!!  Thanks!  :)

Thursday

It's Official!!!

Well... the word is out!  In Bloom Photography is expanding all the way to Texas!  Yep, that's right ya'll!  After much prayer and consideration... my family and I are going to be moving to a quaint little town in West Texas called Sweetwater.  My husband has decided to go back to school for wind energy technology and Sweetwater is the wind capital of the United States!  We took a trip out there a few weeks ago to scope it out and fell in love.  Not only did we rent a 3 bedroom home on and 1100 cattle ranch in the middle of a wind farm, but we met some wonderful people too and were greatly encouraged that this would be the right move for us.

It's VERY difficult to leave my business behind... especially considering how busy I've been in the new year, but this is going to be the best thing for our family in the long run... so off we go (in about a month)!  I am in the works of figuring out just what WILL be happening with In Bloom in South Florida... if you've been working with me, I hope you'll stay tuned as I have a few fabulous ladies lined up to take the reigns and they look forward to working with you.  We are still working out the details... but it should be very exciting stuff all around!

If you are a regular blogger, definitely check in from time to time to see what I'm up to out in Texas.  I'll be doing a mass marketing effort to rebuild In Bloom, but I can't wait to "westernize" my portfolio too... I'll be posting the fruits of my labor on here... so be sure to check it out!  And drop me a note to let me know you've vistited!  :)

And for those of you that still have orders to place or unfinished business, don't worry... I'm only a phone call or an email away!!  We'll work it all out through the mail!

My Handsome Man....

Ok, so I couldn't resist posting these recent pictures of my most handsome husband Matthew.  I just love this guy and can't get enough of him!   It has occured to me over the last few months that I have not one GOOD photograph of him, of he and I together, or my own family of 4 and was completely perplexed!  Like any good photographer, I seem to spend all my time focusing on the bellies, babes, and families I call clients.  Honestly, have to remind myself to include my own kids in that mix!?  But man, when it comes to my husband and I... we are just straight out photographically challenged!!  :)  Well, no more I say!  Here he is...and here WE are too.  I managed to get in a few of us also, imagine that?!  I have to say that I haven't loved a picture of us more since our wedding photos.

I am so grateful for all God is doing in our marriage and family... and I can't think of anyone I'd rather be doing this thing called life with than Matt.  He is "my provision" through and through.  We've had a tough year, but God is good and I'm claimin' it as DONE, Battle Won for my family!  These pictures just serve as just a glimpse of the love, healing, and freedom God is going to pour out through us into other families in the near future.  Can I get an Amen to that?
