Two Cowboys....

This is Jackson & Jamieson.... 2 out of 3 of my dear friend Tanya's boys. What a blessing it has been to meet this family as they are new in town as well.... and they live about 5 miles away from us out here in the sticks!!! Who would have thought? God would. :) Tanya and her husband live and work on the beautiful Pear Tree Game Ranch in Maryneal, Texas. This place is so beautiful and the kids and I have so enjoyed being with them there, swimming, taking off-road excursions in the buggy, and now walking at 6am! (woo-hooo!). It's truly been a blessing for us.... something I never would have imagined doing when we moved here!! My God cares about the little things too, like providing sweet friends for my babies, and a soul-sister for me! Amen! He is faithful!

Taking pictures has been something we've been talking about doing and we finally made it happen! Minus Baby Graham... who was napping during the whole excursion! These boys are completely into being "cowboy" (just like they see their Daddy doing)... so we had fun exploring the fields and snapping these shots! This is just a few as I'm posting this as I'm flying out the door to go to a women's retreat with my new church! Tanya- whatdayathink? :) Love you girl! You already know this.. but your kids are amazing!

The Crisp Clan....

This session was a breeeeze! I'm serious. It couldn't have been any easier for me as the photographer. Little man Connor was a total ham for the camera and kept us all entertained! Mom and Dad just kept shaking their heads as Connor would play for a bit with his truck and teddy bear, "Soft Bear," and then look over at me and flash his big grin! It was pretty funny!

I love what they chose to wear... such fun, bright colors! The orange door (my most favorite door) was just screaming "Come to meeeee" just because it would work so well with the colors they were wearing!! Just goes to show that there aren't really any rules... it all looks good in the end!!

Awaiting Baby Griffin....

Two awesome sessions in a row... first the little cuties and now a gorgeous pregnant mama! Andrea & Jason are awaiting their son, Griffin, who's due in about 10 weeks! I was so happy we were able to squeeze this session in.... Miss Andrea was put on bed rest for the rest of her pregnancy (boo!) Her gracious doctor gave her the go ahead to do the session (love ya doc!) and to attend her baby showers (yay!)!! This session was a total success... beautiful day, stylin' beautiful mommy, supportive daddy, and some awesome back drops.. including right in their home! I usually try to change up my locations... but you'll notice I had to return to the same field!! It was just too pretty not to! Sometimes when I visit a location for a session, I don't quite get to do enough experimentation there... so.... two posts in a row but who cares! :) What a gorgeous setting for a pregnancy session!!

Andrea & Jason... I enjoyed being with you both yesterday! Please keep me posted on little Griffin's arrival... can't wait to meet him too! :)
