As you may have read, I've been in Wisconsin for the last 2 weeks on holiday visiting my sister's family! We've had a wonderful time and sadly, today is the last day of our visit. I haven't been outside yet today, but apparently the high is 14 degrees... so I guess this is a great time to head back to Texas!!! I've been amazing at all the snow we've had and was OVERJOYED to be able to schedule a wintery Senior Session to capture some of it!! These two ladies are the daughter's of one of my sister's dear friends...when I heard she needed Senior pictures done... I was IN!! Unfortunately (and fortunately!) it started coming down pretty hard right as we started shooting... so a few of my creative ideas were dashed... the snow was blowing too hard... but we managed to find a few spots that weren't quiet so thick!! They've got snow in their hair.... but that was sort of inevitable I guess!?
I was very intrigued by Kinza's amazing eyes.. check out their gorgeous shape! She's seriously talented too. We did a few pictures of her playing her piano "Buddy!!" I honestly almost teared up... her playing was really beautiful. What a gift!!
Then there was Miss Colette.. such the cutie! I especially loved the shots of her in the red jacket and with her cute striped hoodie and polka-dot scarf!!
Girls- you get the "tough stuff" award for standing out in the snow with no jackets in order to get these shots!! You did awesome and I hope you enjoy this preview! :) Kinza, I wish you a wonderful Senior year.. I know you are going to go very far in life. I pray God blesses you richly in your music... man, can He use your gifts girl to bring people to know who He is!! See you next time!!
LOOOO-OOOOO-OOOOOOVE this of my sweet girl... these are HARD to get of her... so I was overjoyed with this one!!
My handsome boy, Trystan... he's getting so big!!
This picture was precious... Elyse saw me taking pictures of her big cousins and she came over and sat down for me and gave me this sweet smile.... she posed for me which almost never happens! It was so sweet!
Big cousin, Noah!!
Pretty "Sissy" or Sydni... I love all her little accessories! She's such a girly-girl!!
Yes!!!!!! Our first decent family picture!! I didn't think it was possible!! Is that sad, or what??! :)
Snow looks good on him, doesn't it?!!
Me and my Sweets!!!
Feverishly sucking on a candy cane (her new favorite food) that the nice Christmas tree man gave to her!!
I couldn't resist posting this last.... what a way to finish!! :) My little comedian!
So this is a personal post... thought it might be fun to put up a few pictures from my family's holiday time in Wisconsin. We've been up here for a week now and have been enjoying the snow, cousin-time, sledding, and holiday baking!! I couldn't be more thrilled to finally have a nice family shot of my crew! Up until now, my kids have been IMPOSSIBLE for a family shot... but Trystan was so pleased to pose next to the baby Christmas tree he chose for us on the farm (the top of the tree pictured on the right bottom corner!).
The other two lovelies you'll see here are my niece and nephew, Sydni & Noah. Miss Lexi was taking a nap during the photo session... so we still have yet to capture in her pretty Christmas duds! :) I'll add those just as soon as we take them!
5 days and counting.... I swear I could move here tomorrow!!!
Nothing like a gorgeous head of dark locks... I get to take this beauty's Senior Portraits in the spring! Woo-hoo!
Love this... :)
Looove!!!!
Just hangin' out... letting everyone admire her!
So this is the type of moment I wait for... if I'm patient.... it comes. She plopped down and was sort of watching the commotion going on in front of her. I snapped this quick (the Sad Fairy shot)... and then..... (see the next image)
I slowly moved over in front of her and waited... trying not to distract her or let her really notice me... and I waited some more.... and then I got this.... the little smile as she watched her sisters and mom! BINGO!!!!
I love her expression here... everyone was telling her how pretty she looked in her princess dress... you can just sort of see that little look of affirmation in her eyes!!
How beautiful are these girls???? Got to squeeze them in last minute on Sunday evening.... wow, what fun! Thanks to my photag friend Kit for pointing me towards this fun location! As you might notice, we stayed put for this one.... very unlike me!?? :) I just felt like these cool tunnels were so much fun, I didn't want to leave!
Enjoy this preview of your beautiful babies, Bevette!! More to come soon....
