Shana & Brad's Wedding...

Shana and Brad had a lovely marriage ceremony on the beach in Jupiter last weekend for their close family.  It turned out to be a beautiful day and everything seemed to go perfectly!  I was so nice to be with them on their special day.  I really enjoy shooting weddings.... makes me so grateful to have such a great job!  :)  

Sydney...

This is my second session with Sydney.... and she's got some spunk, I must say!  Yep, we went to "the wall".... I wanted to bring a little person and family there to see how it all worked out.  I think it worked out quite well, would you agree? :)  

This is just a quick preview, I've got a TON of holiday editing to do... so stay tuned!  Shana & Brad's beach wedding is next up!  

Miss Carrigan...

This little beauty has a Irish name and blue eyes that are the first thing you notice when you look at her!  What a fun time I had.... when Carrigan was in the spotlight... I got huge smiles and a show-off, playful spirit!!  Anytime Mom and Dad got in the shot with her... she turned it off!  We think she just liked being the center of attention!  At any rate, I had so much fun and I'm thrilled with what we got here!  

Introducing Grace!

This session gets the award for the easiest family session EVER!!  Understand, Miss Grace was 3 weeks old at the time we shot these... and her (delicious) big brother Jonah is 2 years old... .... the combination of these two ages COULD be a recipe for.... let's just say... a challenge!!!  But wow.. they were so easy!  Little Grace just slept soundly and opened her eyes once or twice for maybe 2 or 3 minutes at a time for me to get some pictures of her awake, which I greatly appreciated!  Jonah was so cute I could hardly stand it... he just enjoyed loving on his baby and was a total ham for the camera!  I love the shot of the family on the couch... I got a whole series of this cozy little pose.  They all just sort of piled around Grace and it totally worked!!  Jonah has a special cherry tree outside that he loves to pick and eat cherries from... so we naturally had to get some pictures under his tree.  He was very excited to show me the cherries and he enjoyed showing me how he eats them too!!  Yum yum!

The Rodriguez Clan...

There is a ton of comedy in a typical family session... especially one where you have 4 children that you are trying to capture!!  Note the irritated face on the little guy, Matthew, on the right in the image of the 4 children... he was SOOO not into that shot and we had to work hard to get him to warm up to the idea of pictures (which apparently is not at all normal for him!)  Of course, this family has a clown too, Noah, which kept me laughing behind the camera practically the whole time.  I had to post a silly picture of him here as a tribute to his contribution to the session... :)  Don't worry Christine... there are other choices too!  What a beautiful home this family lives in... out in an area that looks nothing like South Florida.... I found myself looking around asking, "where am I?" and wishing I could move into their neighborhood.  Here are a few samples from our time together... it was a fun session... with a nice balance of candid moments and posed traditional shots!  I will be visiting this family again at the end of the month and doing family pictures for the whoooole family... about 25 total if memory serves!   Thanks guys... see you soon!
