Introducing Campbell... 9 Days New!! :: Abilene Newborn Photographer, San Angelo Newborn Photographer

I spent my morning with this lil lady, Miss Campbell and her endearing parents Anne & Tim.  They've waited a long time for this little bundle and it's been so fun to get to work with them and get to know them during the process of doing both their maternity & newborn sessions.  Miss Campbell was just a delight, made our session super easy by being extra snuggly and sleepy!!  She must have just felt so at home... she initiated me right into the family as she peed all over me while I was holding holding her to sooth her before she took a snack break!  I was very careful to warn her mommy & daddy that at some point she WILL potty on the blanket and that is OK (oxyclean!)... but I forgot to mention that it could also happen ON ME too!  Ha ha, it was hilarious and I just assured them that "we've bonded now" and that all was well!  Hope you enjoy this little sneek peek guys!  Thanks so much for choosing In Bloom!  :)

Awaiting Baby Brother..... or Sister??! :: Abilene Maternity Photography, Abilene Family Photography

Well, pardon me as I swoon all over the place over this session!  I really could have not asked for much more beauty with this sweet little family (ok, well maybe some evening sun for some hazy, sunflare photos instead of a storm covering up the sunset?!)!   Heidi, who's expecting baby #2 this September, styled this session ever-so-beautifully with their vintage clothing.  As if her daughter, Eden, wasn't amazing enough... she dressed her in this hand made dress and found one to match for herself!!  Honestly, Eden was a little auburn haired, curly-cued ANGEL and I must admit I had a hard time putting the camera down!!  I'm super excited to meet this little person after he/she makes the grand arrival and comes to visit for some newborn photos!!  I just love my "In Bloom & Baby Bud" package!! :)  Enjoy!

A Glimpse of the Last Few Days... :: Abilene Newborn Photographer, Abilene Family Photography

So any of you that follow my Facebook page knows that I've been on an post-processing marathon over this last week... trying DESPERATELY to catch up with the 20 something portrait sessions I've been buried under perpetually over the last 3-4 months of my life!!  The great news is, I'm almost there!!  Woo-hooo!  I did have to take a few pauses to go visit with some little people on Wednesday, Thursday, and this morning.  Just wanted to pause to share a few teasers for their sweet parents!  Enjoy!











Love this shot of Miss Emery... first took her and twin sis's photos as newborns!  I can hardly believe they are almost one!!!?!  I must say she looks mighty adorable on my new pink settee!








Big sister, Brynlee.. she was all about my parasol!

 Sweet Colin... now 4 months old... one of my JOY (Just One Year) clients... doing a 4/8/12 abridged version of the package!








Miss Sophia... shot her newborn portraits what seems like yesterday!!  Now 3 months old and also a JOY client!  I just love getting to see my babies grow!!  








 World, meet Rory... spent my morning with him and sweet mama!  He's 7 days new... and had the most perfect skin of any baby I've ever photographed!   Not to mention the strawberry wavy hair!! :)

Have you ever met someone and had the gut feeling, "Now I could be friends with this person!!?!"  Well, that was my thought about Krista when I first met her at my son's school.  She just has a warmth and light about her.... it's attractive and comes only from her love for Jesus!! I'm convinced that Spirit recognizes Spirit in people... and I'd feel safe to say given enough time and attention... she'll be a "lifeboat" friend before I know it!   Well, these are my sweet friend's little birdies and her hubby who might I say, went right into the snuggles and smooching oh-so-easily when I gave a little direction which made me so happy for my friend!!  We did this session out on their ranch... I especially lovin' the family photos by the pretty sprawling tree in the warm sun of the evening!  
Thanks again for having me ma'am... I'm praying we get our mommy's night out here SOOOON!  (sheeeesh!)  :)

Lauren's 9 Month Milestone Session :: Abilene Baby Photographer, San Angelo Children's Photographer

I've had the privilege of documenting sweet Lauren's milestones since being the her mommy's belly!  Another one of my JOY (Just One Year) clients whom I get to see and work with every 3 months during her first year!  I must give her mommy, Lesli, some major kudos for so beautifully styling her sessions!!  Every time I see her (and her big brother Will), she's beautifully dressed in vintage baby clothes... classic & timeless, which I love because 20 years from now her photos will still be classic & timeless, not trendy and dated!!  Not to mention the fact that when I suggested meeting at 6:45am in efforts to capture the "good light" early in the morning (since that's when Lauren is at her best)I'm so in love with these images... soft and dreamy... JUST the kind of work I love to create!  Enjoy!

I sooo enjoyed seeing lil Miss Callie for her 6 month milestone session!  She's grown so much and is on the move crawling and pulling up!   Her mama says she's into EVERYTHING which doesn't surprise me a bit!  I loved the sweet outfits she came with... these types of sessions are such girly fun!!  Here are a few of my favorites!!
