Sooo handsome!

As you can see, I'm enjoying playing around with my new frame!!

Silly String!!! Poor Micah had such a hard time getting his to squirt out! Selah, as you can see, was a pro and was alllll about it!

Ok, you had to be there.. but these pictures made me laugh out loud. Mom had some M&Ms that she was feeding them from above... they were like little birdies looking and reaching up to get their "worms"... it was hysterical to watch them the look immediately down and find where they dropped on the blanket!

Micah looked like he was about to hurt himself! At this point, I was cracking up behind the camera! Pure comedy!!

And it all started with these two!!

This is my favorite shot of Selah... I just love her candid expression and how the wind is blowing her hair a bit...

This was a very typical family session... and by typical I mean hilarious! Three active kiddos keep you on your toes but are a ball to be with and watch!! Selah, Micah, and little Eli had a great time be-boppin' around Roscoe while I just snapped away! Micah's expressions were so great... if I had more time, I could have done an entire post just based on the many faces I caught!!!

Mom is one of my sweet sister-friends and Dad is a teacher and coach at the Highland School... the bus shots is so much fun! I was so glad to catch this shot!! Thank you friends... I can't wait to finish the rest of your gallery!!

This will be my last post for Texas as I'm getting ready to fly south for a week back to my old stompin' grounds in Florida! Should be a fun trip... just praying for a smooth drive to DFW, flight and great weather for shooting! I'm looking forward to seeing family and friends... and eating lots of Pei Wei Honey Seared Chicken, Publix italian subs, and Sweet and Tangy Grilled Chicken Wings from Bru's Room!! (I'm going to need to go on a diet when I get back, apparently! :) ) Be back soon with some Palm trees and beach photography!

You might recognize the beautiful mommy here in these pictures, Jennifer did a Trash the Dress Bridal Session with me a month or two back!! I was so excited to have the opportunity to get to photograph her handsome boys too! We met out at her husband Brians' family's estate to create these photos... and what a fun place it was! Brian actually grew up there!! The old VW Bug you see was his in high school too!

I told myself I was only going to edit 10 photos from our time together this morning just due to the fact that I'm getting backed up and I am going to REALLY be in the weeds this week when I travel back to Florida to see about 12 of my clients there.... but no such luck!! I guess 15 isn't that many more... there were just too many fun pictures!! I've made a command decision that over the next few months, I'm going to HAVE to cut my posts short so that I focus on editing and finishing client galleries... and not spend as much time on the blog!! Bummer, but it will have to be that way during the busy season!! Truly, just a quick taste!!

This will have to do for now guys! Thanks so much... your session was a breeze... the boys were so great!! :)

Matt and Kyera are about a month away from meeting their son or daughter!! I envy their patience to wait 5 extra months to find out if it's a boy or girl!! Kyera is the cutest little thing... her belly just goes straight out in front of her and if you see her from behind you'd NEVER know there was a baby on board!!

I was so excited to see the variety of outfits she brought... from the bright pinks to the little black dress with heels and pearls... to the cowboy boots... great choices! I was thrilled with the pictures on the bridge!! I had originally just wanted to get up next to the building right next to the underpass, but when we walked across it and I looked out at the view I was elated to see the great view behind her... and how strange to see a pregnant mommy baring her belly on a bridge with cars driving down the hill behind her... not to mention (friendly) cop who stopped by to make sure we weren't planning on jumping!!! I'm also especially happy with the images of her sitting on the bridge... the sunset lighting on her face was so warm and beautiful!! Thank goodness for my 50mm f1.8 lens to open all the way up and let the tiny bit of light we had left in to get the shots!!

It was great session!! Thanks so much Kyera & Matt... I am so excited to do your little one's newborn session too!! Yay! I love it when I get to meet the baby in the belly too! :)

I met with the lively bunch this morning to create some portraits for FBS's church directory and website! This could be a new niche for me... as this is my section session of this kind in 2 weeks!!? Who'd have thought!? Not me.. but I love it! Pictured here are the Music Minister, Senior Minister, and Youth Minister... as well as the Pianist and lovely Secretary!! You all did great.. and thanks for being so easy on me... what a breeze! :)

As always, this is just a quick glimpse of what we got... I was excited to go back to my turquoise blue building before it's renovated and painted over. I've also been itching to use this red barn door I've been eye-balling for months now (love ya Kit!)! It never ceases to amaze me just how many awesome places there are to shoot right here in Sweetwater!! It's really a photographer's dream to have so much variety, color, and texture all within a couple of miles!! Who needs to drive to Abilene or Snyder for pictures... it's all right here!!
